Training and research

Clinical Training
Uppsala University Hospital is a training hospital for, to name a few, doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, midwives, physiotherapists and biomedical analysts. Over 1,500 people receive their professional training here every year.

We arrange lectures, seminars and courses for both healthcare staff and the general public. The courses are arranged by the respective department.

Research
The hospital conducts advanced clinical research in conjunction with the faculty of medicine at Uppsala University, based on the latest findings within basic research. This research is a natural part of everyday life for both patients and staff.
