Innovations

From the end of 2008, the hospital has been running a project with Uppsala Bio and Almi, which aims to encourage inventiveness among staff – “from the elastic band to high tech”. Innovations Coordinator Annilla Edeholm can arrange contact with entrepreneurs, and can help employees to distribute their innovations to a wider audience in other ways.

Annilla Edeholm acts as a link between the University Hospital and the life science industry, promoting initiatives and information in both directions. This project is a four-year trial, which may be made permanent if it proves a success. The aim is for the activity to be self-financing via external grants.
