Pain Center

The pain center offers broad specialist knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of pain problems. The unit takes patients with a doctor’s referral from Uppsala county, and also takes patients with a specialist’s referral from the region and the rest of the country. The department undertakes assessment, multidisciplinary assessment of complex pain for inpatients from outside Uppsala county for a week, and assessment in an outpatient clinic by the pain team.
