Special Medicine

The special medicine department offers comprehensive expertise and highly specialized care in endocrinology/diabetes, renal medicine and gastroenterology. There are approximately 150 people working in the area, in an inpatient ward, a day ward, an outpatient clinic and a dialysis unit. A large proportion of patients come for consultation from other counties. Metabolic bone diseases and Wilson's disease are areas of special interest.
